Vipassana meditation is the watching of a meditation object, breath or body, and noticing whenever the mind goes away from it. Anything that arises, thoughts, emotions, or feelings during meditation we are simply to be aware of them. We are not trying to become them or rid ourselves of them,
Keep Meditation Simple
When we watch the mind, we find that it is not actually running, but rising and falling. When we continually break our thought pattern, we can say we are practicing vipassana. You don’t have to be blissed out to call it meditation.
