When you feel angry or fearful, meditation allows us to give our feelings some distance. Give yourself a moment for the feelings to change. We’re learning how to respond, not react to them.

Balance and Centered
When people give praise to us, we don’t attach to it. When people attack us, we don’t attach to that. We stay balanced, knowing our feelings and emotions are centered and level.
I am the Witness
We do not attach to our thoughts or feelings. We are the witness and the observer. We no longer react to thoughts and emotions; we respond to them.

Vipassana, in the Buddhist tradition, means insight into the true nature of reality in which breath, thoughts, feelings, emotions and actions are used

The most remarkable vipassana ashram is in Mae Hong Son city, Thailand. The forest Monastery is called Wat Tam Wua and is nestled in the forest, surrounded by mountains with streams that wind their way through. It’s a soothing and surreal environment. The monk would teach us that we suffer
