Meditation

Meditation is an important part of healing.  In Thailand I trained at a vipassana meditation ashram called Wat Ram Poeng, located just outside of Chiang Mai city. 

Vipassana, in the Buddhist tradition, means insight into the true nature of reality in which breath, thoughts, feelings, emotions and actions are used to gain wisdom.  Vipassana is a practice used to see more clearly and deeply within.  It gives a student direction with regular practice.  Connecting the body and mind.  Connecting the conscious with the unconscious.
